90 Day Fiancé stars Kalani Faagata and Asuelu Pulaa have encountered many obstacles on their highway to marital bliss over time.
In addition to the stress of parenting two sons beneath two years previous, Kalani and Asuelu have struggled with their cultural variations and language barrier, in addition to their relationships with one another’s households. Kalani has usually accused Asuelu of “throwing her under the bus” to his household with the intention to take the warmth off of himself.
But on a brand new episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After, Asuelu defended Kalani to his mother, Lesina, and two half-sisters, Tammy and Rosa.
During a visit to go to the three girls in Washington, Asuelu needed to flip down his mother’s request for a present of $1,000 with the intention to keep on with his finances for the sake of his spouse and youngsters. This enraged his family members—however Asuelu uncharacteristically caught to his weapons and defended his marriage within the new preview.
Asuelu stated he needed to undertake American customs now that he lived within the U.S.
On his option to dinner along with his mother and sisters—sans his spouse, Kalani—Asuelu informed 90 Day Fiancé producers that he needed to enhance his relationship along with his household.
“After the dinner last night, I feel so weird and awkward. The dinner didn’t end well,” the 24-year-old dad of two lamented. “My family just leave—upsetting. I feel trapped. But I really want to make my relationship with my mom and sister be good.”
After being welcomed by his mother and sisters with open arms, the 90 Day Fiancé star defined that he needed to hash issues out.
“I told my wife I want to come here and talk to you alone, what’s happening last night,” Asuelu informed Lesina, Tammy, and Rosa.
As for Asuelu’s hopes for the longer term, he informed TLC producers that he hoped to embrace American values and traditions now that he lived within the U.S. along with his rising household.
“My family want me to send them whatever they want,” he complained. “But now I have my kids, so I can’t do this. I really want to tell my family, I want to adopt American life, because I’m not living in Samoa—and I try to be like American men.”
But Lesina felt in a different way, telling producers that she totally anticipated her son to stay to Samoan traditions as a substitute.
“I want him to carry on with Samoa’s culture, even if he marry an American woman,” Asuelu’s mother asserted.

Asuelu’s sister referred to as his spouse ‘controlling’ and advised that he was solely along with her as a result of that they had youngsters
Pointing out that Kalani’s household was “still close and loved each other,” cash or not, Asuelu boldly informed his relations that he longed for his spouse to see his family members embracing him even when he didn’t financially help them.
But Tammy, Asuelu’s sister, wasn’t impressed. “‘Kalani’s family, Kalani’s family, Kalani’s family,’” she stated sarcastically. “What about your family?”
Tammy even informed TLC producers that she thought Kalani was “controlling” her brother, partly as a result of he was eight years youthful than his spouse.
“First, I was worried Asuelu was marrying American girl,” Tammy stated. “And then we thought, ‘Oh, maybe she will be able to send money to Samoa to help out our family.’ But now, I feel like she control Asuelu.”
But Asuelu defended his spouse, stating that each one of their funds had been shared now that they had been married and had two younger kids.
“I’m not single anymore,” the 90 Day Fiancé star stated, rather more confidently than ordinary. “My money, it’s Kalani’s money. Kalani’s money is my money.”
But Tammy harshly accused Asuelu of being with Kalani just because she received pregnant twice.
“The reason you are here is because she got pregnant,” Asuelu’s sister argued. “But if it’s not—maybe you’re not even with her.”

Asuelu walked out, successfully selecting Kalani over his household
Kalani’s husband appeared to take offense to his sister’s feedback about his spouse. He stood up, hugged his mother, and left on his personal—regardless of Lesina’s requests that he keep for dinner.
“No, why are you leaving?” Lesina needed to know. “I don’t want you to leave!”
Asuelu defined that he determined to go away due to his household’s destructive feedback about Kalani.
“I think my mom has always got my back, but my sister hate Kalani,” the 90 Day Fiancé star stated. “And I can’t fix it. So I just leave the house and go back to see my wife.”
The 90 Day Fiancé star even advised that he felt he had to decide on between his mother, his sisters, and his spouse.
“I love my family. I love my wife. And I think that I can’t have both,” Asuelu stated sadly.
This conduct was daring and out of character for Asuelu, whom Kalani usually accused of “throwing her under the bus” when it got here to his household of origin.
His choice to stroll out on his mother and sisters in favor of his spouse appeared to shock them—and it undoubtedly wasn’t what Kalani often anticipated from him, both. It appeared that Asuelu was lastly selecting his new household with Kalani over his Samoan family members.
