ABB India orders Rs 191 crore

new Delhi: ABB India on Wednesday mentioned it has positioned two essential orders value Rs 191 crore for traction tools for Chittaranjan Locomotive Works and industrial drives to Megha Engineering and Infrastructure.

The firm mentioned in a submitting to BSE that each these parts will likely be produced at ABB's Nelamangala facility in Bengaluru.

The facility consists of one of many largest factories for locomotive purposes and 4 world shop-floors for medium voltage drives situated in southern India.

ABB will provide Rs 68 crore industrial drive to infrastructure firm Megha Engineering & Infrastructure Ltd, which lately introduced its enterprise into the oil drilling phase. <! –

Apart from the economic drive, ABB India will provide Traction Equipment value Rs 123 crore to Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, a producing unit of the Indian Railways.

State-of-the-art traction converters will assist enhance the effectivity of rail operators, thereby supporting sustainable transport in India.

The firm mentioned that in 2019, ABB India acquired an order from Indian Railways to provide traction converters value Rs 270 crore.

ABB India shares have been buying and selling at Rs 1,325.95 on the BSE, down 0.60 p.c from the earlier shut.
