new Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday thwarted the mob assault on the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan and mentioned that persecution of Sikhs can’t be tolerated.
Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal termed Friday's assault as shameful and requested the Imran Khan authorities to take strict steps and punish the culprits.
He mentioned in a tweet in Hindi, "The attack on Nankana Sahib is a cowardly and shameful incident. Nankana Sahib is the center of faith of crores of Sikhs. The persecution of Sikhs living there cannot be tolerated."
