Guwahati: The Assam authorities registered a case in opposition to the alleged mastermind of the Shaheen Bagh protests in Delhi for his "seditious" remarks to disrupt regulation and order within the state.

Addressing a press convention, the Finance Minister of Assam mentioned that Sherzil Islam was heard saying in an audio clip that the state needs to be reduce off from the remainder of India and taught a lesson.

Sarma mentioned, "The Assam government has taken cognizance of this very seditious statement and we will file a case against this person."

He mentioned, "Many improper issues have been mentioned in Assam by this individual, which goals to create a regulation and order scenario in Assam. <! –
