Guwahati: The Assam authorities registered a case towards the alleged mastermind of the Shaheen Bagh protests in Delhi for his "seditious" remarks to disrupt legislation and order within the state.

Addressing a press convention, the Finance Minister of Assam mentioned that Sherzil Islam was heard saying in an audio clip that the state needs to be lower off from the remainder of India and taught a lesson.

Sarma mentioned, "The Assam government has taken cognizance of this very seditious statement and we will file a case against this person."

He mentioned, "Many fallacious issues have been mentioned in Assam by this particular person, which goals to create a legislation and order scenario in Assam. <! –
