On the event of the nation celebrating the 71st Republic Day, Assam has been rocked by 5 loud blasts. There are 5 blasts in three districts of this northeastern state. All these blasts are reported on Sunday morning. However, there isn’t a report of any casualty from it but. The police have feared the ULFA-I being behind the blasts.

Blasts at these locations

The first blast befell in a store in Graham Bazaar close to National Highway 37. While the second blast befell close to Duliajan police station in Dibrugan district. Two different blasts befell in Doom Duma city in Tinsukia district. Another explosion occurred in Sonari city in Chariadev district. <! –

Police is investigating who’s behind the blasts

Police and different officers reached the spot after receiving information of the blast in Dibrugarh. Assam Director General of Police Bhaskar Jyoti Mahant mentioned that we’ve got obtained information of an explosion in Dibrugarh. The DGP mentioned that its investigation has began. Police is investigating who’s behind these blasts. He mentioned that ULFA-I may very well be behind the blasts.
