new Delhi: Due to Corona virus, the Amarnath Shrine Board has withdrawn the choice to cancel the Amarnath Yatra. Earlier, the Shrine Board had determined to cancel the Amarnath Yatra on the Amarnath Shrine Board assembly on Wednesday, however the choice was withdrawn by the Shrine Board shortly after the assembly. For now, the journey will begin by itself schedule.

Various points associated to the yatra had been discussed within the Shrine Board assembly. After which, in view of the circumstances arising out of the corona virus epidemic, it was determined to postpone the journey to be held within the 12 months 2020 unanimously. <! –

However, within the assembly it was determined that the chances of offering on-line darshan facility to the devotees could be explored.

But now the administration has withdrawn this choice. It is believed that the Amarnath Yatra might be organized at its personal time. According to the web site of the Amarnath Shrine Board, the registration of the Amarnath Yatra ranging from June 23 has been postponed until May 4.
