Santoshi Shetty, a preferred blogger invited the wrath of social media, when she claimed to cost Rs 1,500 for a session about ‘sharing experiences with love and consciousness’. People have been outraged to see her claims and took to social media to bash her for a similar. Many shared that this cost is one thing that solely a certified therapist can ask for.
The blogger later eliminated the video during which she talked in regards to the session however by that point, social media was flooded with screenshots of the identical. What’s worse is she is charging 1500/session & defends it as a beautiful gift and gibberish! Mental health reduced to a bloggers fad! Imagine havin no degree,no license that has to do anything with psychology,psychiatry,counselling but still have the audacity to profiteer off mental health in these trying times..unethical,irresponsible, & selfish are the words that come to my mind.Shame on SantoshiShetty”

If you want to spread love and happiness, do it for FREE. Just cuz her family thinks she has good energy, doesn’t give her the right to charge people for sessions”
One extra consumer shared, “The danger of #santoshishetty’s idea was not that she charged for a session but that she proposed that she could do the job of a therapist without any prior experience/training. It made therapy look like mere talking when it’s not, even when you’re in talk therapy your therapist”
