On May 22, BTS followers had been delivered a feast when Suga unleashed his newest Agust D mixtape, D-2, together with the music video for “Daechwita.” The launch got here 4 years after Suga’s first solo challenge, Agust D. And for essentially the most half, D-2 got here as a shock to the fandom.

During a DJ Suga’s Honey FM 06.13 session, the “Moonlight” rapper informed ARMY he wouldn’t drop the mixtape for some time after RM questioned the discharge date.

“What I can tell you now is, that the music will not be released anytime soon,” Suga mentioned on May 2. “Not close at all. Not today or tomorrow. Please wait for a while. And I’ll come back with good music.”

Then later, in a separate VLIVE session with J-Hope, Suga revealed he was a bit of flustered as a result of RM spoiled the mixtape’s launch.

“The other day, RM made a huge spoiler on my mixtape,” Suga mentioned and laughed. “I was a bit embarrassed. After the spoiler, many asked me when the mixtape would be disclosed. I thought such a surprise could make you happier and more excited.”

Now, this will likely not have been the primary time RM spoiled Suga’s solo challenge. Following the D-2 launch, followers did some digging and discovered the BTS chief sang just a few traces of “What Do You Think?” from the most recent Agust D mixtape. But what caught everybody’s consideration was that RM delivered the traces again in 2016.

In the VLIVE broadcast, RM delved deep into the creation of the Wings album. Then across the 34:38 mark, the chief opened up concerning the rap line monitor titled “BTS Cypher Pt. 4.” He defined Suga wrote a part of the music and began singing the verse. RM confirmed they determined to take out the traces ultimately. But as we all know now, Suga put them into “What Do You Think.”

After BTS followers made the invention, many people commented on RM’s spoiler king standing. “From now on i’m keeping tabs on every song namjoon randomly sings during a live with the advantage knowing it will be released 4 years later,” a fan wrote on Twitter.

Of course, this is probably not a real spoiler. It appears extra doubtless the rapper didn’t understand Suga would use the traces in a solo monitor on the time. The VLIVE befell 4 years in the past, in spite of everything. But even so, many followers identified this implies Suga has been working laborious on D-2 for 4 years.

“Yoongi wrote ‘what do you think’ in 2016 ?!!” a fan wrote on Twitter. “THIS MASTERPIECE WAS JUST SITTING IN HIS LAPTOP FOR 4 YEARS ?!”

“Namjoon mentioned ‘what do you think’ in his 2016 vlive which is in D-2,” another fan tweeted. “EXACTLY HOW MUCH THEY’RE HIDING  FROM US.”

Nevertheless, this will likely not come as a shock to some followers. During an interview with Billboard revealed on May 22, Suga confirmed D-2 has been an ongoing challenge since 2016.

“It’s fun,” Suga mentioned of revisiting Agust D. “I hope everyone enjoys the documentation of myself from 2016 onwards.”
