Production on Tom Hanks’ Elvis Presley biopic suspended& 

Australian Director Baz Luhrmann confirmed that his Elvis Presley film which is about to star Tom Hanks and Austin Butler, is not going to start manufacturing subsequent week in Australia as a result of outbreak of coronavirus pandemic.

According to Deadline, the movie had been within the superior phases of pre-production and it was disrupted when Hanks and his spouse Rita Wilson examined optimistic for coronavirus.

The duo have since up to date that they’re experiencing solely minor signs and are recovering in isolation.

Luhrmann took to Twitter today to verify that the shoot can be paused whereas the world tries to include the virus unfold. He shared in his Twitter post, “I’m sure it will come as no surprise that this is not the moment to be resuming production on the film. Please know this is in no way a reflection of our commitment to make this movie here in Queensland. In fact, we are not even taking our sets down, simply locking up the creative space over the next few days.”

The film stars Butler as Elvis, whereas Hanks can be essaying his controlling supervisor. Maggie Gyllenhaal can also be within the forged because the singer’s mom.
