Deepak Chahar suffered a stress fracture
It has been written in BCCI’s email that Deepak Chahar has had a fracture in his lower back. He had complained of pain before the last ODI against West Indies in Cuttack, after which he was advised to rest, but now when all medical tests were done, it was found that he had a stress fracture. His rehabilitation has started at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He is expected to regain his fitness by April 2020.
Jasprit Bumrah, who suffered a stroke fracture before Deepak Chahar, has returned to the Indian team. Bumrah last played a World Cup semi-final in July 2019. At the same time, he was part of the Test series on the West Indies tour, but after this he was complained of a stress fracture, after which he was out of the team for four months.
