Disney’s live-action diversifications have, to date, confirmed to be an enormous moneymaker for the studio. Last 12 months alone, two of those uber-popular remakes — Aladdin and The Lion King — crossed the $1 billion mark on the worldwide field workplace. And Mulan appears to be slated to comply with in its predecessors’ footsteps. Currently, Mulan is anticipated to gross roughly $85 million domestically throughout its opening weekend, per Variety. That’s not far off from Aladdin’s $91.5 million opening weekend in May 2019.
