Egypt Criss and Sam Mattick have been the discuss of actuality tv sequence, Growing up Hip Hop, all season. Now, after an altercation following a current episode, Criss, who’s the daughter of Salt-n-Pepa‘s Pepa Denton, says she is “resigning” from the present.
Egypt Criss and Sam Mattick have been controversial this season
The relationship between Criss and Mattick has arguably been the most important storyline of Growing Up Hip Hop throughout this season. They have been controversial as a result of a lot of Criss’ mates and fellow solid members will not be followers of Mattick. All season, they’ve been attempting to vet Sam to make positive he’s who he says he’s and cares about her.
Many of the solid members say that Criss, who was barely in any drama because the present’s inception, has modified since she bought with Mattick. In spite of all of the naysayers, the Criss and Mattick have remained collectively and appear to be going sturdy, regardless of all of the issues that everybody has stated about them.
Things reached a boiling level on final week’s episode when Criss had a bodily confrontation along with her solid member Briana Latrise. The two have been at odds this season as a result of Latrise doesn’t like Mattick. When Criss and Latrise talked about their scenario, issues bought heated and Criss hit Latrise within the face. Criss and her father, Naughty By Nature’s Treach, have seemingly recorded a diss observe aimed toward Latrise as effectively.
She proclaims that she gained’t be returning to the present
In messages on social media, Criss appears to imagine she is being portrayed in a nasty gentle on the present. In a tweet and Instagram post, Criss stated that she gained’t be again.
She wrote on each platforms, “I respect myself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves me, grows me or makes me happy. It’s time for me to rise from the ashes from being falsely represented to you, the people I love most, which is why I have decided to resign from Growing Up Hip Hop.”

Mattick introduced again in February that he wouldn’t be on the present’s subsequent season. Criss and Mattick aren’t the one solid members to say they’re quitting the present. Father-son duo Romeo and Master P each say they won’t be returning. Denton has not introduced if she could be again or not if Criss does the truth is not return.
