Guwahati: The BJP (BJP) -led authorities in Assam has determined to shut Madrasas and Sanskrit colleges run by the state authorities. The authorities is now going to transform these establishments into colleges and now college students shall be taught regular programs there. The Education Minister of Assam whereas speaking to the media stated, 'If college students are taught non secular books from authorities funds, then Bhagavad Gita needs to be taught in Sanskrit colleges too. We have determined to shut all madrasas and Sanskrit colleges within the state. Because it’s not the federal government's job to offer non secular books to those establishments. Hemant Biswa Sarma has stated that 'Madrasas and Sanskrit colleges of the state shall be transformed into excessive colleges and better secondary colleges and this work shall be accomplished in three to 4 months. '
