Pakistan's PM Imran Khan is beating the world around that religious minorities are being treated badly in India, but the US has put Pakistan, not Hindustan, but in the list of nations that are 'proud of religious freedom' Violations' either ignore or remain involved. Saudi Arabia, Iran and China are also included in the US list of these nations. <! –
According to an official statement, the US State Department on December 18 included Myanmar, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan as 'countries of specific concern' under the International Religious Freedom of Law Act 1998. The reason for this is that 'these countries either ignore the gross violation of religious freedom or are involved in it in a planned manner. '
The US can punish these nations by imposing economic sanctions under this law. The US has re-included Comoros, Russia, Uzbekistan on the special watch list for 'profound violation of religious freedom' and included Cuba, Nicaragua, Nigeria and Sudan along with it.
