New Delhi: Union Minister Jitendra Singh stated on Sunday that the work of the railway line connecting Bangladesh to India's Northeast area might be accomplished by the top of the 12 months 2021. Singh stated that when the development of the railway line between Agartala in Tripura and Akhaura in Bangladesh is accomplished, the route for working the primary practice from Northeast to Bangladesh might be paved in 2022.

Giving details about some upcoming tasks within the Northeast, the Union Minister for Development of the North Eastern Region stated that his ministry will bear the bills of laying 5.46 km railway line within the Indian half whereas the bills of laying 10.6 km railway line in Bangladesh might be borne by the Ministry of External Affairs.
