Letter sent to COAI Govt.

Earlier, the chairman of COAI had said that from leaking paper in the country to the removal of article 370, the internet is closed in the states, due to which people have difficulty and companies are also harmed.

According to the Internet Shutdown website, a total of 377 times Internet has been shut down in India from 2012 to 2019. At the same time, 180 times have been banned in Kashmir, 68 times in Rajasthan, 27 times in UP, 11 times in Bihar and 2 times in Uttarakhand.
The government has shut down the Internet a total of 10 times in Maharashtra from 2012 to 2019, once in Andhra Pradesh, once in Tamil Nadu and nine times in West Bengal.
