Srinagar: On Friday morning, terrorists opened hearth close to a toll plaza of Jammu Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir) freeway. After firing, the terrorists escaped in the direction of the forest.

A policeman was injured within the incident whereas a terrorist was killed in retaliation by safety forces. Encounter continues to be on.
Earlier, the Jammu and Kashmir Police arrested a Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorist from Baramulla in North Kashmir on January 28. A police officer mentioned that Sajjad Ahmad Dar alias Adnan, a resident of Hajin in Bandipore district, was arrested from Andergam village in Pattan, Baramulla.
Police is questioning the arrested 19-year-old terrorist. Earlier in an encounter on Monday, terrorist Shahid Khar, a resident of Redwini of Kulgam, was killed by safety personnel.
