When the COVID-19 pandemic began surging in March 2020, most Hollywood productions have been shut down out of security considerations. And whereas main U.S. studios stay closed, some UK productions are starting to open up.
Jurassic World: Dominion, which is being filmed within the UK, resumed manufacturing on July 6. And in an interview with EW Live SiriusXM, lead actor Bryce Dallas Howard revealed that the studio is taking big measures to make sure the security of everybody on set.
“There’s been a lot of communication,” she stated. “They are going above and beyond. We would never go back to work if we didn’t feel safe. And, you know, we’re taking it a day at a time and I’m very grateful to have a job.”

“What feels really right about it, is that there is this daily conversation, daily communication with all of the actors,” Howard added. “With the key crew members and just us consistently being like, ‘Okay, how are we going to do this, how are we going to do this safely?’ and not making compromises that could undermine someone’s health.”

As a reboot/sequel to the ‘90s Jurassic Park movie franchise, Jurassic World launched a brand new collection of films when it premiered in 2015. The movie launched Chris Pratt as dinosaur coach/professional Owen Grady and Bryce Dallas Howard as park operations supervisor Claire Dearing. Pratt and Howard reprised their roles for the 2018 sequel, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, and can take their characters’ story additional in Jurassic World: Dominion.

Howard then shared quite a few photographs revealing the a number of bruises she bought whereas filming. “Raise your hands if you’re happy to be doing stunts again!!” Howard captioned the photos.
