A Delhi courtroom on Sunday despatched the arrested couple on police remand until 17 March for alleged hyperlinks to the Khorasan module of ISIS and inciting Muslims in opposition to the CAA.

Jahanzeb Samee (husband) and Hinda Bashir Baig (spouse), who hail from Police Kashmir, had been arrested on Sunday. According to the police, each the accused had been members of the banned terrorist group ISIS and had been selling their ideology of hate in opposition to non-Muslims concerning the Citizenship Amendment Act. "It has been found during interrogation that he has created multiple fake IDs on several social media platforms and propagated the ideology of the banned organization ISIS against the CAA," the officers stated.
