Pakistan Medical Association demands rangers picket at civil hospitals

Lahore (Sahiwal Tv – December 11, 2019 – Sheharyar) Pakistan Medical Association have made a big demand from Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Medical Association of Pakistan has demanded Prime Minister Imran Khan that the ineligiblity of Chief Minister Punjab and Provincial Minister of Law has led to today’s shameful incident. Hospitals should be transferred to rangers otherwise it will not be possible to continue working in hospitals.

According to details, PMA officials in the meeting chaired by Prof Dr Mohammad Ashraf Nizami, president of the Pakistan Medical Association Lahore, condemned the attack of the lawyers at the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, saying that hospitals are a symbol of peace and holiness and shared life. During the war, even the enemies do not attack the hospitals, the armed lawyers have attacked the hospital today and made worse than the enemies which is less to condemn.

PMA officials said that the attack on the PIC was actually an attack on the government and the government has failed miserably to fulfill its duties.

We demand the Prime Minister to take immediate notice of the situation that due to the ineligibility of Chief Minister Punjab and the Minister of Law, today’s shameful incident took place, severe action should be taken against them and hospitals handed over to rangers across Punjab. Otherwise, it will not be possible to continue working in hospitals.

On the other hand, an emergency meeting of PMA Lahore has been convened at PMA House Lahore at 3:00 pm tomorrow to determine the future course of action.

The meeting was attended by Dr Malik Shahid Shaukat, General Secretary PMA Lahore, Dr. Azhar Ahmed Chaudhry, Professor Dr. Tanveer Anwar, Dr. Raram Princess, Dr. Wajid Ali, Dr. Bushara Haq, Dr. Ahmed Naeem, Dr. Tariq Mahmood Mian, Dr. Saeed Ahmad Chaudhry, Dr. Salman Kazmi, Dr. Rana Sohail, Dr. Talha Sherwani, Dr. Hamad Rafiq and Dr. Imran Shah.
