Chichawatni (Sahiwal Tv – November 24, 2019 – Zafar Iqbal Ansari) Merchant Association Chichawatni protests against unauthorized fines by Price Control Committee Chichawatni and put panaflexis of shutting down sale of oil and pulses outside shops.

According to the details, the shopkeepers say that pulses, oil, and other commodities are sold expensive by the companies while the price control committee forces us to sell them at a lower price. Prices of pulses, ghee and oil have been fixed by the Price Control Committee for less than Rs 15-25.

It has been three months since the Price Control Committee has not held a meeting with us. We are being fined from Rs 5,000 to Rs 20,000. We demand the government to stop harassing us and that unjust fines immediately be stopped. Our concerns should be included when creating the rate lists and solving the problems of the laborers on a priority basis.
