The Income Tax Department has given nice reduction to the taxpayers amid the ever growing corona disaster throughout the nation. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has now prolonged the final date for submitting earnings tax returns. Now you have got until 30 September to file the tax.

The division wrote in a tweet that the date of submitting of earnings tax returns has been prolonged protecting in thoughts the difficulties brought on by the pandemic of the Kovid epidemic. CBDT has prolonged the date of submitting of earnings tax returns for the 12 months 2018-19 (2019-20) from 31 July to 30 September 2020.

Deadline has elevated 3 times thus far

Earlier, ITR was to be filed by 31 March 2020 for the monetary 12 months 2018-19. After this, it was elevated to 30 June 2020. Then it was prolonged to 31st July and now it has been prolonged to 30th September 2020.
