Monique Samuels returned to The Real Housewives of Potomac and is concerned within the greatest storyline of the season. The businesswoman has had a tough season after a bodily altercation with co-star Candiace Dillard. Not solely that, however she can also be going through allegations that she cheated on her husband. All this drama made Samuels consider it was greatest to stop season 5 and she or he explains why.
Why did Monique Samuels virtually stop?
For Samuels, RHOP Season 5 is her fourth time holding a champagne glass as she joined the present in its sophomore season. No different season has been as powerful for the mom of three than the present’s present one.
“It’s definitely stressful but, you know, I was definitely built for it,” Samuels advised ET Online. “I’m a survivor, I’m a strong person. I can handle the pressure.”
Samuels and her former friend Dillard get right into a struggle that turns bodily and modifications the Housewives franchise endlessly. After the altercation, Samuels has taken a special strategy to the feud. Instead of specializing in the struggle itself, she desires to concentrate on why she was triggered in that method.
“I didn’t want a pity party,” she shared. “I didn’t need any of that, I wanted to figure out what triggered me, why it triggered me and what can I do to make sure this never happens again. So, that is what my goal was.”

During the season, Karen Huger suggested Samuels to take a step again from everybody, which the latter took very severely. After talking to the Grand Dame, Samuels even considered quitting the present solely.
“That thought actually came about, and it went even further than being a thought, I’ll just put it like that,” she revealed. “But I ultimately decided that, as long as I could feel comfortable continuing my filming and show my journey, as long as that was in a comfortable environment for myself, then that’s what I wanted to do and that’s what I decided to do.”
Samuels is now grateful that she caught it out and didn’t stroll away.
Paternity rumors are unleashed
Samuels took to Instagram to share how among the women have been plotting to unleash a rumor concerning the paternity of her youngest baby. All of this occurred main as much as the season four reunion, in accordance with Samuels.
“Gizelle is planning to go to [the] reunion to tell people Chase isn’t Chris’s and that you were cheating on him and that’s not his baby,” Samuels stated that Huger revealed.
“How disgusting is it? You can say whatever you want about me, but to talk about my child?” Samuels added. “If someone were to talk about anyone of Gizelle’s daughters or even the illegitimates from her ex, she would go berserk. To bring up my child’s name, when you know the mess ain’t true, how low and disgusting is that.”

Chris Samuels weighed in on the plot to take his spouse down on RHOP.
“I don’t believe in hitting women or anything like that, but I was floored and so upset about bringing a child in and hearing about this nasty plot and rumor just to take my wife down,” the previous NFL star advised Entertainment Tonight. “I’m fine with the show, as far as Monique being on the show and they take their jabs and have fun, but you’ve never once seen in the past me and Monique really go after people’s kids and literally make up rumors.”
