Baghdad: Rockets had been fired close to the US Embassy in Iraq's capital Baghdad on Sunday. Two safety sources gave this data to AFP. No one has claimed duty for this newest assault on American institutions within the nation.

AFP correspondents heard the sound of the blast on the western aspect of the Tigris river. Most of the international embassies are positioned on this space. A safety supply mentioned that three rockets fell into the excessive safety complicated whereas one other mentioned that 5 rockets had been fired within the space.

No casualty has been reported within the incident.
