Today Show’s Sheinelle Jones launched final thirty days that she’d be vacating her seat on Weekend Today. The six-day work few days swept up using the mother of three, where she made the choice to drop the week-end work and only stick to Monday through Friday in the 3rd time of Today.

“As much as i enjoy my Saturday Today family, this will be likely to be my final time anchoring the tv show,” Jones launched to people on December 21. With three children 10 years of age and underneath, the development lady provided that she desired more hours along with her family members.
“Since I’m so busy on the weekdays, I thought, you know what, I should probably see those three children that I have at home,” Jones stated, according to Today.com. “They’re 7-year-old twins and a 10-year-old — Kayin, Clara and Uche — every time I look up, I feel like they look like they’re a little bit older so I’m going to be home with them on Saturday mornings.”
While she’ll continue to be on Today Monday through Friday mornings, making co-hosts Peter Alexander and Dylan Dreyer wasn’t simple. “It has been an incredible five plus years,” Jones stated of her time in the tv show.
NBC News White House correspondent Kristen Welker are going to be picking right up where Jones kept down. Already providing as a fill-in anchor on Weekend Today, the session of Welker as a permanent co-host in the tv show had been a fantastic segue from Jones’ deviation.

A seasoned journalist

Joining NBC News in 2010, Welker was located in Los Angeles.
