Shock to Dr. Kafeel, Supreme Court transfers case to High Court

In December, the Supreme Court transferred the case of the arrest of Dr Kafeel Khan, a protestor towards the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) at Aligarh Muslim University, to the Allahabad High Court. Gorakhpur's pediatrician Kafeel is at the moment in judicial custody. Dr. Kafeel was arrested by STF. Kafeel filed a petition within the Supreme Court towards this motion. NSA's arrest was challenged

Accused of giving inflammatory speech

But he was transferred to Mathura District Jail in view of the potential of unrest.
