Cricket Sri Lanka has introduced the squad for the two-match Test collection towards England. Sri Lankan star batsman Kusal Perera returns within the 15-man squad chosen for the January collection, whereas Lahiru Thirimane is ignored.
Perera, one of the crucial profitable batsmen of the Sri Lankan staff, was dominated out of the Zimbabwe tour. Sri Lankan selector Ashantha de Mel mentioned that Perera's squad wouldn’t have made it to the squad when Dinesh Chandimal and Angelo Mathews had been within the squad. <! –
Perera, who was the hero of the Durban Test victory towards South Africa, flopped towards New Zealand within the collection performed in August 2019. After which he was not given an opportunity within the collection towards Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
The first match of the collection between England and Sri Lanka will probably be performed in Galle on 19 March and the second match in Colombo on 27 March.
