SC dismisses plea of CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s loss of life case&
The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a PIL searching for CBI probe in actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case. The petition, which was filed by Alka Priya, has now been rejected. The Chief Justice, in his assertion, categorically refused to intervene within the matter for now. The Supreme Court is of the view that the police ought to examine the matter.
The petitioner, nevertheless, maintained that Sushant had achieved numerous good work and even despatched kids to NASA. The CJI, of their response, refused to file the plea for now.
The actor, 34, died by suicide on June 14. After his premature demise, the conversations on the web shifted to nepotism and psychological well being. The actress has been booked below sections 306 (Abetment of suicide), 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), 342 (Punishment for wrongful confinement), 380 (Theft in dwelling home), 406 (Punishment for prison breach of belief) and 420 (Cheating and dishonestly inducing supply of property) of IPC. The FIR was filed in Patna and Rhea has filed a petition for the probe to be transferred to Mumbai.
In a separate investigation, the Mumbai Police has reportedly thus far summoned round 40 folks. The record contains Dharma CEO Apoorva Mehta, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mahesh Bhatt, Rajeev Masand and Rhea amongst others.
