Bachelor Nation followers have been heartbroken when Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood broke up after practically two years of relationship. The pair received collectively on The Bachelor Season 23 and continued to showcase their love on social media. Then in late May 2020, Underwood and Randolph introduced their break up on Instagram.
That mentioned, many followers questioned why the couple determined to go their separate methods and plenty of rumors began to flow into after a couple of unnamed sources spoke to publications. However, Randolph rapidly cleared the air and denied the allegations.

On May 29, Underwood and Randolph launched separate statements on Instagram to announce their breakup. And whereas each events acknowledged the top of their relationship, Randolph and Underwood confirmed they might stay mates.
“First off, I want to say this is one of the hardest things I have had to share as neither one of us is quite ready to talk about it yet. However, because our relationship is such a public one, our silence on the matter has been speaking for us,” Randolph wrote on Instagram. “Colton and I have broken up, but have decided to remain a part of each others lives.”
She added: “With all that we have gone through, we have a special bond that will always be there. I love Colton very much and have an enormous amount of respect for him. We have both learned and grown so much these past couple years, and will always have each others back. Always.”
Meanwhile, Underwood wrote:
Its been a loopy few months to say the least, Cass and I’ve been doing quite a lot of self-reflecting. Sometimes individuals are simply meant to be mates – and that’s okay. We each have grown immensely and been by means of a lot collectively – so this isn’t the top of our story, it’s the beginning of a complete new chapter for us.
Cassie Randolph responds to rumors about her breakup with Colton Underwood
When Underwood and Randolph introduced their break up, a couple of publications seemingly answered the rationale why. According to Us Weekly, an insider said the couple knew their relationship was coming to an finish and have been “pretty much just roommates toward the end.” Meanwhile, a supply instructed E! News Randolph tried to interrupt issues off with Underwood a “few times” as a result of she wasn’t able to cool down. But then on May 31, Randolph denied the claims on her Instagram Story, claiming they have been “fake news.”
“QUIT spamming me with these false articles,” Randolph wrote. “How do you not know by now to not believe everything you hear/read?”
She continued, “To everyone spamming me with these articles, please quit it. I don’t know who these ‘credible sources’ are, but this is twisted. Interesting how so-called ‘credible sources’ want to remain anonymous.”
In a separate post, Randolph urged followers to cease leaping to conclusions and put an finish to the rumors as soon as and for all.
“I’m so effing tired of hate and lies that exist. And I’m sick of people who are quick to judge and assume. You have no idea what went on in our relationship. So stop jumping to conclusions,” Randolph wrote. “And articles that are about my family not liking Colton?? For real? My family loves him so please get your facts straight. This is honestly ridiculous.”
She added, “So irritated with mass hate that exists right now. Why can’t everyone just be kind. The ending of our relationship had nothing to do with me not being ‘ready’ for something more. Nothing.”
Meanwhile, Randolph reminded her followers each events are battling their breakup.
“Colton and I are both struggling with being sad right now already, without the negative input,” she wrote. “So just keep that in mind while you write hateful comments to either of us.”
Then Randolph expressed her frustrations in her last post.
“Yes, I’m angry. All this hate is awful. From the sh*t going on our world right now, to the petty sh*t that people send me,” she wrote. “I do not know how people can stand themselves to be such awful, hateful humans. Seriously what is wrong with some people.”
