Following the postponement of the second Grand Slam French Open of the 12 months, there may be hypothesis that the final Grand Slam US Open of the 12 months can also be postponed.

But this event will now begin from September 20 and run until October 4. The new date of the French Open has been set only one week after the US Open.

USTA mentioned, 'We are at present planning to carry the US Open as per the schedule and we don’t intend to make any adjustments in it. But that is an unprecedented time and we’ll take a choice on this regard preserving in thoughts all of the choices.
