Savannah Guthrie is again on the Today Show set although nonetheless holding a social distance from her co-hosts. The NBC anchor simply celebrated her daughter Vale’s sixth birthday and took to Instagram to share pics of the day she was born.
Savannah Guthrie’s firstborn graduates kindergarten
The Today co-host usually posts updates on the milestones of her household. Parenting her two children Vale and son Charley, 3, with husband Michael Feldman, Guthrie normally has loads to share.
Reporting from dwelling till not too long ago amid the coronavirus disaster, Guthrie has been holding her followers within the loop through Instagram on how her household is dealing with quarantine life. One instance contains Charley getting a house haircut from his dad in May as a consequence of salons being closed.
“Charley entrusts his tumbleweed-esque quarantine hair to the hands of the master, @feldmike, and as a wise man once said: ‘you’re gonna like the way you look,’” the Today anchor wrote alongside a pic of Feldman and Charley. “Big sis gets right in for the next available appointment and gets a nice trim.”

Another memorable event was Vale’s commencement from kindergarten. “Our graduate – getting her kindergarten degree with homemade cap and bathrobe gown at zoom school today,” Guthrie captioned the photograph of Vale. “And so proud she’s just gotta give herself a hug.”
‘Today’ co-host enjoys parenting later in life
Speaking with PeopleTV in August 2020, the couple discussed having their youngsters of their 40s. Guthrie was 42 when Vale was born, and Feldman was 45.
“I think I always wanted to be a mom. When we found out we were pregnant and going to get to have a baby, I don’t think there were two happier people on this planet,” Guthrie gushed. “I love being a mom in my 40s. I don’t have anything to compare it to, but I think there’s a lot to be said for being a mom a little later in life.”
While the NBC journalist acknowledged some bodily drawbacks that include age, Guthrie feels that the rewards of getting youngsters utterly overshadow any disadvantages.
“Whatever the downside is, maybe you’re more tired or your back hurts when you lift those big, heavy babies,” Guthrie shared, “I think it’s more than outweighed by just the wonderful time of life it is and how grateful and blessed I feel. When you wait a long time to have kids, you really, really appreciate it because you know how lucky you are.”
A mom’s love captured on digital camera
With her daughter turning 6 on August 13, 2020, the Today star posted a sequence of photographs from the day Vale was born together with some heartfelt messages.
“I believe in love at first sight. And I believe in miracles,” Guthrie captioned the breathtaking photographs on Instagram of herself holding a new child Vale. “Having a baby at 42 was certainly both. I am thanking God today and every day. I will never, ever, ever get over this blessing. There is always hope.”
Another post was meant particularly for Vale from Guthrie, together with a carousel of pics of her daughter from beginning till now.

“This little bundle of sparkle came into our lives six years ago today… and oh, how we have loved you every moment since,” the mother of two wrote. “Vale Guthrie Feldman, you really do have a touch of stardust in you. You shine and smile and laugh and love with every drop of energy in your being. Your joy is infectious and your affection is for all. You are the gift we get to unwrap every day. Happiest 6th Birthday.”
