When Armaan Malik took a jibe at Sonakshi Sinha on Twitter, saying 'Leave the stage and mic to us'

Looking again at Sonakshi Sinha, Armaan Mallik’s Twitter battle& 

There has been a longstanding debate on whether or not actors ought to take the mic and enterprise into the house of singing or not. Over the years, B-Town stars together with Amitabh Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt amongst others have taken the mic to lend their voice to a few of the most soulful tunes heard.

But not very way back, Sonakshi Sinha went on to win hearts along with her stunning voice. Back in 2017, when information broke that Justin Bieber is performing in Mumbai, a web based portal had revealed that Sonakshi might be performing the opening act.

Shortly after the post went viral on social media, Kailash Kher and Armaan Malik went on to voice their opinion towards singers venturing into their house. Armaan had written on Twitter, “Actors are actors & singers are singers. leave the stage & mic to us, that’s our playground not yours.”

And there started a Twitter battle between the 2 stars. Sonakshi was fast to reply to the Tweet and write (in a now-deleted post), “A secure artist wud always encourage another artist to grow their skills and follow their dreams. Art in any form should not be suppressed.”

Armaan reacted to Sonakshi’s post to say that he agrees along with her “but I voiced what I felt about how singers are shunned in our country & given lesser importance than actors!!” The battle did not cease there. Sonakshi, recognized to be a sport then wrote, “And this is definitely not the same tune you were singing when you wanted me to sing for you.”

Armaan went on to take one other jibe at Sonakshi for mixing two completely different incidents up. He replied to the Dabangg star to put in writing, “You are mistaking me for @AmaalMallik he is the composer :)” 

The Tweets exchanged by Sonakshi throughout this Twitter battle are actually deleted.
