WHO and the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which works with World Cancer Day, have launched two studies. One report is predicated on setting a worldwide agenda on the illness and the second report is concentrated on its analysis and prevention.
According to the World Cancer Report, in India in 2018, about 11.6 lakh instances of most cancers had been reported and seven,84,800 folks died as a consequence of most cancers.
"One in 10 Indians is feared to have cancer during his lifetime and one in 15 Indians is feared to die due to this," the report stated.
